Book Review: The Piper’s Pursuit

Katerina on the surface has it better than most of the people in her village. As stepdaughter of the Burgermeister, all her needs are met but unbeknownst to most of the villagers is her stepfather is a
wicked man abusing his wife and daughter and stealing money from the duke. He hides behind a righteous facade and even plays the pipe for children in the village, but Katerina isn’t convinced.
She decides she can free herself from this prison if she kills the mysterious beast who plagues the village and eats anyone who strays too far into the forest.


Katerina’s plans are ruined with a brash but handsome young man arrives at her home. As the
son of the duke Steffan seeks to redeem himself after foolishly defying his father. He believes he can do that by killing the beast, there’s a catch. The reward for killing the beast isn’t just fame and fortune. It also comes with Katerina’s unwilling hand in marriage.
The two bump heads in their pursuit of the beast but soon discover more is going on than just the disappearance of children from the village and the Burgermeister’s mysterious wealth.
The unlikely pair will have to join forces to defend this evil monster and the man controlling it.

Though this is book ten of her Fairy Tale Romance Series it is written as a stand-alone and is a perfect place to start.
