I’m a homeschooled pastor’s kid which translates into I’m a geeky girl who knows a thing or two about Lord of the Rings and the Bible.

As a young girl growing up in a Christian home, I loved reading books and watching movies, but many stories seemed to have the same problem. They were too graphic and full of false ideas. That’s when I discovered Christian Fantasy/Speculative fiction and fell in love with the exciting plotlines that stayed true to the Bible and my sense of adventure.

So here I am more than a decade and a half later creating my own stories and hoping someone will read them and exclaim, “Wow! I needed that adventure.”

I want all believers to remember that even when you feel alone in your struggles remember you are a child of the King of kings and straighten your crown.

If you are a nonbeliever, I want you to know you can join this family of young kings and queens.

When I’m not daydreaming about knights and dragons, I’m either creating things out of epoxy resin or snuggled up on the couch with a good book next to my husband (who is my knight in shining armor.) We also have a fluffy twenty-pound cat named Aslan who is the most laid-back cat ever but his two brothers, Pippin and C.J.  love getting into trouble.

My current manuscript was a 2020 and 2023 finalist in the ACFW First Impressions Contest, a 2021 and 2023 finalist in the ACFW VA Crown Awards, and a 2022 and 2023 Cascade Christian Writers Contest.
