A hidden princess brought to the light, only to be disgraced. The mad king wants an heir, and he will force his daughter into marriage with as many men as he can to make it happen. In a desperate attempt to find freedom, Princess Seren crafts an enchanted fur cloak and flees the castle. Little does she know, the silent threat to her father’s throne follows her, whether to capture her or help her, time will only tell.
If you like twisted fairytale retellings or adventure books filled with magic, this one is for you. I enjoyed Angie Dickinson’s book Truth Cursed so much that I had to jump on this one the first chance I had. I had never heard of the fairytale Cat Skin, but I adore the Rumpelstiltskin tale, so I dove headfirst. All I can say is I was not disappointed.
