Elm and Ava cannot believe what they have found in the mentalist compound. And it will only complicate things as time goes on. Betrayal and deception cause Ava’s capture. As the clock ticks down for her Elm and Sammy do everything they can to find her while still fighting for the freedom of all magic users.
Ava’s greatest test won’t be becoming a benefactor like she thought she wanted or trusting yellow magic users. It will be how far she is willing to go to achieve what she believes in.
The conclusion to the Color Theory Trilogy has a fascinating ending and a plot twist difficult to see coming. We make a full circle back to Prism and the history of the magic wars. I enjoyed how redemption is a strong theme throughout even if it is not always accepted by those who need it most.
