Book Review: Aberration

The recorder is spared death, for now. Only thanks to the virus spreading like wildfire across the ship that is her prison. A young group of student break her from her cell to help them gain control of the drifting ship but her problems don’t end there. Once the Elder appears and the virus spreads to other ships, the clock begins to tick. She must reunite with her friends and her first friend to the giantic roch infested caves and find the clues left behind by another recorder. Heartache, death, and memory will plague the Recorder, but she will not be swayed in her mission, to save the lives of her friends.

Aberration lives up to the high bar set by its predsesor The Recorder. If follows the same flavor and storyline with calculated precision. As back stories and secrets are revealed, you will be pulled deeper into the Recorder’s world as she battles to find a cure for the seemingly unstoppable virus. The slow burn cranks up the dial while dragging us on broken glass throughout our journey. My only complaint is it leaves us on yet another cliffhanger!

Scoresheet.

Spice/Romance: Mild. Missing and embracing.
Violence: Mild. No gore but there is internal bleeding and other serious injures.
Morals/Worldview: Christian/good morals
